He began his career as an Assistant Commissioner and Magistrate, gaining early experience in field administration and policy implementation.
Over the years, he has built a reputation for leadership in macroeconomic policy, debt management, and public financial reform. He has served in senior roles at the Ministry of Finance, including leading the development of the Medium Term Debt Management Strategy (MTDS), and contributed to key financial reform reports.
