Mr. Stuart Kidd is a seasoned finance professional with over two decades of international experience in financial accounting, internal control, and business restructuring. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Auckland University and is a Chartered Accountant with the Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand. His career spans leadership roles across Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Japan, and the UK, bringing extensive exposure to BAT’s global finance agenda.
Date of Appointment to BATB Board
Mr. Kidd was appointed as a Non-Executive Director to the Board of Directors of BAT Bangladesh on 25th January 2023.
Achievements
- 2020–Present: Serving as Regional Head of Finance for BAT Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa (APMEA), leading financial planning, restructuring, and governance across diverse markets.
- 2015–2020: Appointed Finance Director for the North Asia Area, based in Tokyo.
- 012–2015: Relocated to Hong Kong as Regional Business Development Manager, overseeing mergers and acquisitions for Asia Pacific.
- 2008–2012: Finance Director at BAT International, Zug, Switzerland, after working in the Mergers & Acquisitions division at BAT Group Headquarters in the UK.
